Procedures: Deep Plane Face and Necklift with Fat transfer lower lid blepharoplasty and C02 laser skin resurfacing
63 year old female. If you were to ask me who our prototypical patient is (and one of the most fun) it would be this wonderful woman. Why do I say that? Because she, like most of my patients, is inherently beautiful. In fact, so naturally pretty that the fear of looking operated on or unnatural has prevented them from tending to themselves as they should until finally the aging process becomes unbearable.
We comprehensively addressed her issues via a deep plane face and necklift. The neck was of special importance to her and to 70-80% of patients who come to me. The deep plane facelift approach, which I have been using since 2004, has been enhanced by extending the plane into the neck itself enabling results such as this. By freeing the muscles, and their tethering attachments, the muscle freely moves and can be repositioned in a natural vector with minimal tension. In addition, through a small incision under her chin I was able to sculpt the adipose tissue underneath the muscle in her neck that is not accessible via submental liposuction. The fat transfer, laser surfacing and lower lid were done to keep the face harmonious and natural. (If I just did the facelift without these procedures she would not look this natural.)
