Who can Benefit from Permanent Makeup?
Anyone who:
How is it done?
Natural pigments are tattooed into the dermis of the skin. I use a state of the art medically approved digital machine for precision and accuracy.
Who decides on shape and color?
Both of us! The goal is to match the desired shade of pencil or makeup you use and to create a shape that is aesthetically pleasing.
First I sketch the tattoo in place with a cosmetic pencil while you are sitting up. Once you agree on the shape I choose a few shades of liquid pigment to dab onto your skin closest to the area to tattoo. You will make the final decision on color unless you choose to leave it up to my expertise in color selection.
Is the procedure painful?
Thanks to a variety of topical anesthetics pain is minimized. Most of my clients describe the sensation as a tickle. Those with a low pain tolerance will feel slight discomfort.
What is the healing process?
Immediately following the procedure the area tattooed will look about 40% darker and heavier. You will look like you applied a little too much makeup. There may also be some swelling from the anesthetics. You can resume normal activities immediately and apply makeup the following day. It will take 2-3 weeks to see the final result while the pigment matures and reaches its final color.
Health and Safety?
The digital technology system I use in these procedures is state of the art. The pigment delivery system is recognized as one of the safest on the market today. The needle cartridges used during the procedure are sterile, individually packaged and "one time use" only. All equipment is sanitized after each client to eliminate the risk of cross contamination.
