 BOTOX®
Cosmetic, or botulinum toxin type A, is a protein commonly
used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles.
It is injected under the skin into areas surrounding the eyes,
forehead and mouth to smooth crow's feet, frown and worry
lines, and lines on the neck. BOTOX® injections block nerve
impulses, weakening muscles to relax wrinkles and give the
face a rejuvenated look. BOTOX® may also be useful for
migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and eye and neck
muscle spasms.
Restylane
Browlifts can
revitalize drooping or lined foreheads, helping you to look
less angry, sad or tired. Using either traditional or
minimally invasive (endoscopic) methods, the muscles above the
eyes are altered to smooth lines and raise the eyebrows for a
more youthful appearance. The procedure is often combined with
other operations such as blepharoplasty and facelifts to
improve the look of the eyes and other areas of the
face. In a traditional
browlift the surgeon makes a coronal (headphone-shaped)
incision behind the hairline, stretching between the ears and
across the top of the forehead. In a minimally invasive
(endoscopic) browlift the surgeon makes three to five short
incisions; then an endoscope -- a slim instrument with a
camera on the end -- is placed in one incision while the
surgeon works through the other incisions.
Radiance Injections
 Radiance is an injectable implant material
that can fill the lines around the face, especially the laugh
lines. Unlike bovine collagen, no allergy testing is required.
The material can be placed without any skin testing. Best of
all, Radiance lasts years as opposed to months like Collagen.
Although slightly more costly than Collagen, in the long term,
less money is actually spent.
Other
applications for Radiance include filling out depressions and
scars on the face. The correction achieved is both predictable
and long lasting.
