RECOVERY

The recovery period associated with your West Palm Beach neck lift will vary depending on how intensive your procedure was and your body’s natural healing capabilities. However, in general we advise our patients in West Palm Beach and surrounding areas to plan for at least one to two weeks away from work. In addition, we recommend having a friend or family member stay with you for the first day or so, as moving around the house and performing simple tasks will be difficult.

During the first few days after your neck lift, it’s normal to experience swelling, bruising and pain around the treatment area. Dr. Murphy will make sure you have access to pain medication to manage any discomfort. Within the first week, we will ask you to return to our Palm Beach Gardens office, so Dr. Murphy can evaluate your progress and make sure your neck is healing properly.

Through those discreet openings, he’ll manipulate the underlying tissues to create a natural, long lasting rejuvenation. If you suffer from lax neck muscles, he will tighten those as well. Once Dr. Murphy has successfully sculpted a refreshed and younger-looking neck, he will place your skin taut and close the incisions.
